Deck the Halls

Whist the Parents are away I made my start on setting up the christmas decorations and injecting some festive cheer in the Joyce household.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Yippee!

Big Dip

The day arrived............................................... after contemplating having my hair dipped dyed for a few weeks  I finally bit the bullet. A bag of nerves having never dyed my hair before I feared that I might turn out looking like Tony the tiger or even worse leave with half my hair missing. Once over that and a few words of support from the ladies I visited my friend Jens swanky new salon which she has just opened to take the plunge and..................I  absolutely love it.

Lost and Found

Its not to be mistaken for the local office in your bus depot the Lost and Found Birmingham may not be the place to go find that old umbrella but I am sure once on the doorstep you will unearth a number of surprises.

The Victorian Botanical hideaway has arrived in birmingham and around every corner there is more to discover than what originally meets the eye, I spent a lovely evening for the grand opening were myself and the Kai design team saw the effort of our hard work.

The night was a success with many a positive review and plenty of great cocktails!

Birmingham lights

Spending the weekend in Birmingham made a change form the usual and much to my surprise we were just in time for the German Market.
With a love for Gluhwein and shopping what more could a girl ask for. A little trip to the bull ring has allowed for a head start on the old Christmas shopping, consider it a success all round!

Holidays are coming!!!!!

Not a massive fan of commercialism especially at Christmas but the coca cola truck never fails to spell out Christmas so I had to visit while it was in town

Children in need

Time to unleash some domestic goddess vibes and get my bake on. I dream of being Nigella Lawson and children in needs cake sale seemed like a perfect opportunity to don my apron to bake some cupcakes all for a good cause. Here's my efforts for Pudsey complete with vanilla buttercream and mini smarties

Halloween

Top pumpkin carving!

Back with a "bang"!

(A metaphorical "bang" of course!)

Well its been a while and quite frankly I'm only just catching up with myself!
A few months have passed and a little and a lot has changed. I am back! Time to rectify the errors of my ways!

Birthday times

These handmade little beauties were made by my very talented and creative friend Nina. Knowing my love of the wrinkly chopped pooches I now have my two friends "Kevin" and "Simon" in cushion form! I adore these bad boys, so thank you very much!

Catch up

Back from a month or so in sunny Spain for September I really appreciated some quality family time and plenty of dedicated rest and relaxation before me twenty *cough* birthday. Fond memories I have to keep! :)
