Hoxley and Porter opening night

What better way to celebrate winning the independent bar award for lost and found Birmingham than gathering for drinks at another great projects opening evening. Located in Islington Hoxley and Porter is a brilliant bar and eatery with a story to tell. Anyone in the area should spare some time to visit, pick up a drink preferably that contains the amazing earl grey gin and enjoy!

Bag must have

I'm eagerly awaiting pay day to make this backpack mine,

Celina loves the Carnival

Urban lake

Nipping out on my lunch break today I came across this urban lake, created in between the buildings in london bridge area there was opportunity to race boats, print t-shirts amd grab a drink. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying it.

Hackney wick

Finding my bearings has been so fun, the east end of london is full of brilliant and creative things to see  and do, this amazing building was found on my walk to the canal for a catch up with friends, I'm looking forward to discovering more.

Good friends stick around.

Since moving its been apparent that some friends are for keeping, thanks Goldie for your Harry Potter themed snail mail! Looking forward to seeing you soon.

East london neighbours

The big move is finally complete, all boxes unpacked, everything in its place and I'm really looking forward to becoming an east end girl. Especially with these feathered new neighbours.

What more could you need to keep you off the bread.......

Jazz in the Park

Nostell Priory hosted Jazz in the Park much to my excitement, armed with a grand picnic in hand along  picnic chairs and blanket, I can honestly say this was one of the best nights I've had in a long time. The weather stayed fine the music was great and the atmosphere was bustling! Bravo!

Sad goodbyes

Sadly my furry friend is no longer with us, life will be a little different now.

Food glorious food.

Dieting can be a little boring sometimes but sometimes little gems like this come along, this beautiful crayfish salad really did the trick and was a great substitute to my missed Sunday lunch.

Reds True Barbeque.

Nothing more to say but  YOU HAVE GOT TO GO THERE,

Crooked ways

Making the most of the warm weather meant heading to crooked ways festival, a one day event in West Yorkshire and a fun day all round, many drinks to keep warm on the cooler evening and some great company means I will most definitely be trying this festival again, not to mention the cracking line up!

Spoilt rotten.

I was a lucky lady this weekend a great gift of a new dinosaur to add to the collection and something shiny from Hobbs. Thank you very much! X

Top mark plough mans!

The recent visit to York was topped of perfectly with this mammoth ploughman's platter, a lovely location in the walled garden it's a great shame I have lost the name of this lovely eatery! If I do remember ill update you all!

Playing catch up in more ways than one!

So I'm back after neglecting poor dinosaurs in tights for long enough the updates are about to come flooding!

While I'm no where near physically fit enough to run it, this year it was great to watch the london marathon first hand instead of on the box. It was great to see all the support for the runners doing a Stirling job for some great causes. We tasked ourselves with giving motivational cheers to any one named phil and hopefully all those phils out there appreciated a mid race pick me up.
